Today the three-year research project MELODIC starts at the University of Siegen. This is where we will report on workshops, results and publications.
MELODIC begins on 1 October 2026. Over the next three years, we will develop a sensor exercise band at the University of Siegen that turns movement into music. The project is funded by Alzheimer Forschung Initiative e.V.
What happens next
In the first months, we get to know daily life in the participating care facilities. We talk with people living with dementia, their families and care staff, and spend time with them in their daily routines. After that, the first joint workshops begin.
